The home has been built to last, and boasts black granite sills on all exterior doors, cedar shingles with redwood trim, copper gutters and downspouts, copper clad skylights, copper roof flashing, and copper craftsman porch lights. The clear, all heart, vertical grain redwood decks use stainless screws with redwood plugs, have 4 x 10 laminated redwood railings, and the sub deck roofs are sealed with silicone roof emulsion for longevity. Bronze spacers support the redwood cross rails, brass risers support the outside hose bibs, and there is even stainless steel rebar where stairs meet the landings.
